"From Siri’s acceptance or rejection of our commands or requests, comes a feedback loop that trains us to constrain our thoughts to the crucial data."

I mentioned this earlier. I think it will be good.

lonelysandwich: Human-computer-human interaction

Fascinating thought and post by Adam Lisagor. If Siri (or other technologies like it) becomes hugely popular, might it change the way we speak to other humans?

That sounds ridiculous at first. But when I think about every time I use Siri, I’m constantly training myself to speak in a certain way.

Many of our regular speech patterns are filled with extraneous words or confusing wording. The human brain often does the work to interpret such things anyway. But what if it didn’t have to?

“Get to the point” could lose its meaning if everyone always gets to the point.
